Car is starvin - Need Help

Car is starving to death - don't think it's a fuel pump problem as it starts "sometimes" ?? After starting it will stay running - keep in mind I'm new to the car enthusiast arena please - Turns over fine - just can't get it to start up every time, when it does, starts on the first turn - - Was recommended that this could be the fuel system relay switch - Can anyone be so kind as to tell me where this relay switch is located and how difficult it is to replace? Fuel pump's gonna be a expens job, trying to troubleshoot other possibilities before I take it in for a replace. Was also recommended that this is a sensor problem that might be fixed by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery to see of the sensors re-set themselves. I'm a babe among wolves, not sure where to go from here!! Thanks.

I'm not sure which fuel system you have, but on my TBI I had the same problem. The relay was located by the firewall on the passanger side. You can't miss it, it's a large relay and i think there may even be a label near it. All u do is unplug it and plug in a new one.
