Code 33

I keep getting this MAF code. I've installed a new MAF and still get this Code 33. I should say that it is not all the time. If I shut the vehicle down for 60 seconds and restart it will be fine for a time. I've have just rebuilt the motor. Installed speedpro 10/1 pistons & SLP runners,Chevys Hot Cam, port work on heads& intake system. New headers. just trying to find the problem. Any ideals will be HELPFUL,,,,,,,,,,,

First make sure that the relays are good, no shorts, adjust the throttle blades so your iac is about 20's at isle. If that doesn't do it-with your mods, you need a chip burned-there's a table under ecm constants-maf high diag (code 3) error-change from 45gps to about 100gps; it'll still set a code for a real problem and that'll get rid of the false code that your mods produce.

A DTC 33 is for unexpectedly high measured flow. Make sure the TPS is adjusted correctly.
