What gives, the cam bearings dont fit?

I finnaly got some free time to work on my engine, poped the old cam bearings out and tried putting the new in and they dont fit. They just slide right through no resistance at all. I checked the part numbers and they are the correct bearings so this is a new one, what am I supposed to do here?

SSC,

Has the engine been rebuilt before? Many times, a spun cam bearing requires a rebore and oversize bearing shell. Mic the bores and compare the O.D. of the old bearings to the replacements to make sure. There might be a 0.010" difference. :O

Thanks for they reply Vader.

Yep thats what happend. I was able to find some oversized bearings and were GTG. I know someone had thier hands in this engine before but I just figured they did an in the car overhaul. I guess they just did a pizz poor rebuild.
