can anyone tell me if the sensor found in this link

his mass air flow sensor is shot and he needs a new one fast... and this one seems to have a good price.

No.

However you may want to check the tpi boards, I believe there may be a translator in the works or that already exists that could make an LS1 MAF work. Your best bet without that is a wells MAF.
