Not if there were a loose ground to the battery, used to happen to me a lot.

Ya lights came on, but when I tried to turn the engine on, they dimmed however, later it now works..... I am pretty pissed because I just missed some BS class that I had a quiz in. What a friday.
Now way in hell. If the inj. fuse took a crap you could still turn the engine over. It would spin but the injectors wouldn't be pulsing so no starty.
Its something in that starter circuit. The starter may still be bad. I've got a starter on the way out and sometimes it will click once or twice before turning over. I wouldn't be listening to that friend of yours anymore.
