The Trip gauge ( the 4 digit number) on my instrument panel stopped ticking. One day It started counting wrong it went from 001 to 012 to 123 all within 3 miles so I pushed the reset button and it went back to 000... since then it hasent changed, it stopped counting. Anybody got any ideas

I can't help you fix it but Mark mine still works.

Only think I can think of is that either a gear is not meshing properly or the input is no longer working. Have you pulled the dash apart to take a look at it yet?

Not to belittle you, but did you make sure that the stem was returned all the way back out after you pushed it in?

Mine does that all the time, and if I don't literally pull it back out it'll do the same thing.
