These Heads worth it?
These pics mean nothing to me. is this an ok deal?

It is evident from the pictures that one cylinder had some
problems. Misfiring and some sort of collision on the exhaust valve.
Plan on a bent valve at least.
These heads are going to need work. Assuming they are infact usuable castings.
I'd look for the later second design L-98 heads with the D shaped exhaust port.
These early alumium heads have about the same potential
as late cast iron l98 heads when ported, which can be good.
Don't plan on just buying them and bolting them on for $400.

They look okay for what they are, but plan on having some work done. I'm sure you'll need to have the guides and seals replaced. I'd bet you could find the same heads in good shape for the same price. Just by glancing I see nothing wrong with the heads themselves.
