Does all of this retard come in all at once, or is it starting to detect knock and retard the timing gradually and just ends up at that point? Try running the tank almost completely out of gas, then put in a few gallons of 100 octane race gas. See if the knock goes away, or at least down. This will help you sort out whether or not it is false knock.

mine does that. but i have a nasty vibration when the motor reaches 4000 rpms. do you here the knock? if not then it may be false. the headers are hitting the frame of the car on mine. so when the motor reaches 4000 rpm, the headers are sending a false knock through the motor.

You've got way too much base timing! Stock is 6*. At 2500, the computer is tring to add between 20 and 36* depending on the load. You're ending up with too much total timing, so the computer is retarding it. Cut the base timing down to like 10* and run some premium fuel, then see how it does.
