help! no gas!!!
left work last night, the car sputtered and died. cranks but wount start. 88 iroc 350 tpi. started with the obvious, fuses. everythink looks good-next, spark+fuel. got spark so i look for gas-nothing in the fuel rail! so now i listen for the pump, nothing. alright, work back to relay. when i turn the ignition on i don't hear the relay closing. i swap relays with the maf relay. no good either. so now i pull both relays out and do a continuity check and ohm out the coils. i reading 58 ohms across the coils. my question is: is there something interupting the current to the coil?

The pump should be the same size, I don't think that'll be a problem. Get a new GM if you need one, they're pretty reliable. While you're in there, how's your sending unit?? I've got a brand new one for sale if your fuel gauge is off or you wanna replace while you're in there.
I wound up with a TPI tank sending unit for an F-body by accident when I did my engine swap in the Monte two years ago. Damn dealer sent me the wrong part, but since it was a special order, they wouldn't take it back (swap took too long, and I found out too late it was the wrong piece).
Anyway, it's a complete setup and includes directions, a new screen, foam muffler for the fuel pump, new O-ring for the top of the tank, and some other misc. parts to complete the installation. The part number is 25027221. Hit me offlist at oness2nv@aol.com if you're interested!
