Problems with ES poly mounts and SLP y-pipe

I installed ES poly mounts and dropped in a ZZ4 bottom end but I go to bolt up the SLP y-pipe and I can barely get it to fit....... It rubs on the underside of the car. I had about an inch of clearence on the stock mounts. This is bull.......that the ES mounts had to have raise the engine about 1.5. Well my qusetionis could I have put them in backwards???? If so how can I tell......manit sits high now.....about 2.5 inches between the crossmember and the pan. What is a good stock replacement mount cus I cant close my hood eighter now with the ploy mounts and the stealth ram!!!! BS!!!

you might have the mount brackets tuned around, but i'm not sure taht could cause your problem. wheni installed my prothane mts. there was a specific way to position the urathane inserts there were tabs front and back that have to point a certain way.
My engine sits higher with the mounts but i can close my hood, i did have the interferance with the y pipe but it seems to have worked it self in. Also consider what heads your running sometimes the exhaust ports are raised compounding the problem.

In my opinion, get oem rubber. since the mounts are captured in the brackets they really don't break, and rubber will make the car quieter and smoother.
