Help with college project, please.

I'm doing a college project in my Business Management class. We pick a company and do some research on it. I'm going to do GM. Anyone know of some good sites with info on the company, or maybe the # to their Human Resources Dept so I can get some info sent to me.

I need info like, what the company's mission is, # of employees, history of the company, officers, and other info as well, but I'll just list those few instead of everything.
