Valve to piston clearance
Do you guys think i will have problems with valves hitting the pistons? I have a 357 with flat-top piston and small valve reliefs. The heads will be ProLine Pro Lightning's with 64 or 72 cc chambers. The cam is a comp cams CS XR274 R-10 274 280 0.564 0.570. Which heads will be better for clearance 64 cc or 72 cc? I will be running 2.08 or 2.05 and 1.6 valves. How much does it cost to have piston valve reliefs cut deeper, can it be done with cast pistons?

I just want a guess on the probability of probkems. I will do a mock-up to check clearances before runnng.

I've been told that if you are under .600 lift and are using STOCK pistons, you'll usually be OK.
However since you aren't using stock pistons, definitely check!
