need help b4 i screw up

im putting vortecs on my car......what ive been trying to figure out is with those heads you are suposed to run narrow body self alligning rockers.....well i have to have guide plates and studs put on them.my question is what in the world do i do about the rockers.....to much money in this motor to screw it up..............thanks ahead of time

I'm not sure which type of valve cover is on the Vortechs, but if you are installing guidplates you don't need self-aligning rockers. If the VC are centerbolt, you will most likely need the narrow body.

Correct, you can't use both guide plates and SA rockers, iirc.
