this is a 88 ford festiva,i know i know,its a ford,but hey,i couldnt pass this one up,only paid 200 dollars for it,4cyl 5 speed,ac,not bad running car,i have a problem with the carburator,or at least thats what the guy said it was,sometimes,it seems to get just the right amount of fuel,other times,its like its stalling out,what should i check first?im going to tune it up,and put new gas filters in,see if this helps,would a used gasket under the carb cause this problem,he said that could be another thing,he wasnt for sure what was wrong,just trying to get some input,before i go blowing money on the wrong thing's,thanks alot.
