engine stumbbles on acceleration WHEN engine is COLD
engine stumbbles on acceleration WHEN engine is COLD
in the mornings. i have to let my car idle for at least 4 or 5 minutes or else it will have a terrible stummble when accelerating. like when i press the gas, the engien will stumble and the RPMS will actualy go down. and i have to hold the gas there until it climbs back up to around 2000 or whever.. and just to get the car to move. i have to slip the clutch to about 2500 or so. and even then it takes it a few seconds to get to 2500 rpms..
and its not like its supper cold outside. cause its been doing this in mornings when the air\temp is like 80*.. so i odn't think it has so much to do with the cold affecting the engine physicaly. but maybe just a sensor or something.. i checked the CTS on the scan tool. and it usualy shows about 85-90 * as soon as the car starts. which i would think on a cold 80* morning. the engine temp would be alot cooler then that.. parked in the shade and all.. but the cts is only about year old. and i don't think that variations of 10* would effect it that much. and i know that the MAT is working properly. cause its showing about 80* air intake temps when cool. once the engien is warmed up however everything runs perfect..
oh and another thing. it goes into closed loop at like 147*.. which i thought was kinda low...
should i replace the CTS again.? or could it be a mechanical problem. like crappy injectors or something?
oh and one more thing. i recently installed a 6 speed to replace my old auto. and on the scan tool it always shoes it as being in drive. not P\N. could this have to do with the engine idle speed?

I think we've already found your problem. Looks like you are running super lean, therefore you get that bog down when you tip in the throttle a.k.a lean pumpshot (Acceleration Enrichment). But I can see that you have a bad 02 sensor from your datalogs with the scantool.
