Just bought a 1988 Iroc Z with 305 TPI, Auto, 98k miles. White with tan interior, no tops, ac, pw, pdl, posi, 2.73 gear with drum brakes. I have a question though. This car has the original paint, but is missing the "Tuned Port Injection" emblem on the back and the stickers on the ground effects. It also has the 110 mph speedo which from my research was only on the TBI engines. I checked the VIN and the RPO codes and it has the options it is suppose to have. Any ideas?

I paid $1200 for it because the tranny won't shift out of 1st and the engine will need a rebuild soon. I plan on changing to a 350 and replacing the tranny with a mild street version of the 700 r4.

 

My 89 IROC Convert. has a 205 TPI and 110 speedo 2.73 gears
