I lost to a bone stock 88 GTA the other night. since I've done so much work to my car but not to the gears or TC he smoked me so bad off the line I couldn't catch up. so it's really hard to say too.

Well, if this is a street race with both the same engines, then it will be a driver's race.
If you're talking about which is faster under equal conditions then I'd say the '91.

Car: 1991 GTA
Engine: 5.7L L98
Transmission: 4L60
Axle/Gears: 3.23
Both 350 GTA's both fully loaded. However get this the '91 has under 100000Km on it the 89 has over 220000K. 89 GTA fully stock ran a 14.7 corrected!
