Corvette alum Heads worth it or not?

I have an chance at getting some 88-91 alum heads for 300$CND.My questions is are they worth getting and how would they do on a 305.I might put them on the 305 but i might also build a 350 and put them on that. What year 350 blocks will the Heads fit on?

Thanks

Yes those are good heads for your 305 and a 350.
They will bolt onto any of the non LT-1/LT-4 reverse coolant flow
motors.

If you're willing to port them and upgrade the valves, you can make them into great heads. Lots of potential there.

Wow, that's only like what $175 or so American. Seems like a great deal if in working condition.

I've seen a few on ebay go for $500.

Buy them, even if you don't intend on using them, as long as they are usable.

KevinL91Z is running high-12's with these heads, with some port work from his family's shop. I got to 13.19sec @ 102mph with unmodified Vette heads back when I had an auto trans.

I'm upgrading to AFR heads so mine will be on the market this month, got one potential taker with dibs but if it doesn't happen they'll be listed in Classifieds.

These are the GMPP version that came with LT4 lightweight valves, LT4 springs and hardware, only modification I made was having the machine shop add a threaded hole up front for the serpentine accessory brackets.
