K, latley my temps have been jumping around. Before i put on trans am front bumper 200 deg all the time idle, city and highway. ( with old bent up air dam) now with trans am front bumper and new air dam 190 on highway, 220 at idle if car is warm, and alittle over 220 in the city under 50 miles an hour. any suggestions? thanks guys

Yeah, I did the same thing and had the exact same results. Is your front air dam one from a trans am (or in similar height??)? The ones for the trans Ams were bigger (ie-went closer to the ground). this is because the bumper extends closer to the ground. also check your fan. Is it working right or at all. Your idle temp depends on this. If nothing else then invest on the dual fans or an aftermarket setup.

fans fans fans??? Your idle temp is much higher now. You obviously need some pull effect through the radiator. Invest in a better (or some better) fans.
BTW- Have you checked your radiator lately?? Is it up to the task? Is the inside clogged with residue and debri? Are the fins intact (not smashed down by large monsterous bugs?
