Well... the car left me walking again... on the highway.
But some dude gave us a ride home.
Ok... started running real bad, surging the idles... BACKFIREING..
sound like the timing chain is slipping.
when i tryed to go it felt like something was slipping in the engine like the timing chain on the sprokets.
Is this the timing chain?
I couldn't get it to idle after.

Probably not... they usually either work, or they don't. If it doesn't, the car doesn't run, period.
Surging & backfiring sounds like a fuel delivery problem: it's way lean. Have you changed your fuel filter lately?

Yep recently changed it.
The cap came loose on my distibuter the other day and ****ed up the cap and rotor. Same symptems that I am having now but the cap is on tight. We replaces the cap and rotor.
We took the #1 spark plug wire and in inside came out. they must be ****ty wires so we just pushes it back in.
I also have more than 1/2 a tank of gas.
