How do I adjust my Q-jet idle, unusual?

I am used to the simple srew adjustment, whats up with this computer stuff, and how do I lower it? It idles at 1300 in park and about, 850 in drive, thanks

Same way as always... little screw on the left side of the carb body that the throttle linkage comes to rest againt

Of course, for that to work, the choke needs to be fully open and the high idle screw off the choke's high idle cam.

99 times out of 100 a high idle is due to one or both of the following:

1. Choke not fully open- as Vader describes, still on high idle cam
2. A vacuum leak. These motors have a mile of vacuum lines- and they all leak eventually.
