Hi, I just checked my camaro manually, and i got the codes 32 and 54. I was wondering if i could fix these problems myself, or should i take it in. Thanks.

Code 32 is commonly set for a failing egr sensor, which isn't that difficult to replace. What kind of car is this? if TPI, there are some good pics of the valve here: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=142466 Good info there anyway, thanks to Vader. As Vader also says in that thread, code 54 is shows low voltage to the fuel pump. Does the car run? If you poke around with a voltmeter or a test light between the fuel pump and the battery you should find something--maybe a failed relay, fuse, or wiring.

It's always good to include too much info when posting about a problem. Details about the car and how it's running/not running help. Good luck.

I've had a code 32 for months now lol.

Too tight to spend the money for the EGR valve just yet - it's like $52 for an el cheapo at Advance Auto. I did replace my EGR solenoid in a failed attempt to solve the problem - that was only $17, but alas no luck (was worth a shot though). So I run with a SES half the time, but doesn't seem to affect drivability for me.
