Need help on what heads to buy?
Hey, I am buying a '84 TA 15th anniv.... its got a weird engine size (or at least to me it is). Its a 350 block .60over with a 327 crank...whats that like a 337cci? Ive been told its running just plain old 400 heads. So the 1st purchase for it is heads. The cam that was put in is 230/230dur .480 lift 112 lobe sep. I will be running nitrous, so I dont want too high of compresion. Cash is limited but im open to all sugestions. Thyanks for all your help.

I'd look into some Pro Lightning 180cc heads perhaps. www.proshaver.com has good prices on them, I got mine fully assembled aluminum ones for $870 shipped, they were on sale though, but said he would discount for group purchases.
ok few more questions: should I go alum or cast iron...whats the benefit for both? What cumbustion chamber size, 64cc 72cc ? what intake runner size would be good? 180, 200 higher? Again ant input would be helpful...thank you

I'm far from an expert on this, so wait for some back up.
All things being equal iron heads will produce more power than aluminum
Benefits of aluminum, much lighter, and you can usually run a whole pt higher compression since it can dissapate heat better.
A plus for iron ones are they cost less.
For an engine that size you'll prolly want a 180cc head, unless you plan on it to be high revving, but I'm not totally sure on that point.
What kind of pistons are in the motor? What compression do you hope for?
