If what you're really asking is if it's OK for a LG4, then yes, it is, but it's a bit on the large side.
Do a search on this board for the topic you're really asking about judging by the cluster of posts on basically the same topic, which is, how to upgrade the LG4. This is probably the single most often-asked question on this board. There's enormous amounts of discussion on it. The best advice I can give you is, start with the exhaust all the way from the heads to the street, made specifically for some kind of one of these cars other than a LG4, such as a 350 TPI; a cam, such as a Comp XE256, and replace the valve springs and timing set and ideally the rockers at the same time; port the heads, there are many discussions on how best to do this; get a decent air cleaner, which means not an open element with a "drop base", but ideally a L69 one; and put some gears in it. Until you do all those things, changing the intake manifold won't help (or at least not very much at all), and will probably slow the car down.
Resist the temptation to just un-bolt and re-bolt nice big shiny pieces that you can show all your friends when you open your hood. That's a waste of money and produces no results. Notice that all of the things I mentioned above are largely invisible. If you do all of those things, you'll end up with close to 250 HP, and the car will go mid 14s, on the stock intake, carb, and distributor. Those aren't the things that are keeping your car from going fast, so your money is much more wisely spent elsewhere.
