Does my tranny use a cable or is it Wired? 89' RS 700R4

I want to put in an autometer MPH guage... the electronic one. But I need an electronic sender unit, not a cable driven thing.

does my tranny already have the elctronic pulse/mph sender unit?

if your tranny is stock, it will have a cable driven speedo. although i think that they are not to hard to switch over to an electric speedo.

nope, not hard. just expensive. the sender unit is $80 and the speedo is $200.

$280 for a speedo? hah! i would rather have a nitrous kit for the extra few bucks. or an exhaust. or a head unit. or a...
