Anyone running a Victor Jr?

I want to know how much extra hood clearance I'll need.

Just enough "extra" to close the hood.

You'll need a drop base air cleaner.
The best one is the one origionally used on 1967 to 1970
Chevrolet performance cars.
It was disigned to fit camaros and vettes with hi perf sb's and
big blocks of the era.
You can still buy it or just the base from

http://www.noahperformance.com/Restoration.html

or a ram aircleaner from http://www.ramairbox.com/
These are far superior in fit and flow than the common aftermarket aircleaners. even K&N

same height as a performer rpm 4.65"

a standard performner is about 3.6". You need to come up with about an inch somewhere.

I have the Victor Jr. Vortec intake and a Demon 850DP with a 3" air cleaner and it fits nicely under my 4 inch cowl.

If its the same height as a performer RPM, it'll fit fine.

I was just checking the dimensions of the intakes in the PAW catalog. I have the Super Victor #2913 and it shows a CH of 5.63 inches. They show a CH of 4.58 inches for a Victor Jr. # 2975

For the Victor Jr.'s get the dimensions for the part number you are going to use as the height varies.
