Car not starting (already searched)
Ok, I've had this problem for a while now and I really would like to get it taken care of. My car just does not start at all. I turn the key and nothing happens. I've been starting it for a while with a toggle switch that I have rigged directly to the starter. I checked the relay thats underneath the driver's side kick panel and it's good. Could it be the contacts inside the ignition cylinder are shot? One of those stupid fusible links to the starter shot? Or just a plain old case of the bad passkey? It's a '90, so it has the VATS. I did a search, but I couldn't find anything about this particular problem. Thanx.

Hmmm, if nothing happens, do you mean no lights as well? If not then, I'd say it might be VATS, but I have no clue how to fix it.
If you get no lights, I'd say check the ground to the battery, but I'm not sure if you could get it started even the way you're doing it.

maybe ur battery is completely dead, like no more juice availble what so ever. i dont wanna sound like an *** about it but maybe have someone jump ur car. that happened at work, this girl rented an enterprise car and she must of left the lights on and came out and the alarm woudnt work and the car wouldnt even want to try and kick over, so i got the jumper pack from the office and 2 mins later the car started right up.
No, there's juice in the battery. I've been using a toggle switch to start the car for months now. I guess you just misunderstood my question. When I turn the key, all the dummy lights on the dash come on like normal. The starter solenoid doesn't "click" though. There's a problem somewhere in between the key, and the starter that I haven't been able to pin-point yet.
