head light adjustment...

hi eveyone--

i was wondering how in the heck i adjust my headlights on my 89 r/s??i just got my car back from the body and paint shop and its obvious they just threw it all back together..i did find the three screws at the top of the housings and assume they do something besides hold the retainer ring in...any help would be appreciated..sinjin89rs

there should be two large screw for the adjustment, not to be confused with the smaller trim screws. the two adjustment screws act aginst spring preasure to maintain head light alignment. one screw moves the light side to side and the other up and down. there is a "special tool" to fits you light with a bubble level and you turn the screws untill the bubble is between the lines, you need to be on a level surface to do this.
