*reposted to get answer in time....sorry and thanks*

Here they are. Dude selling them claims he doesnt even know what brand or model they are!

They are 1 5/8 primaries and 3" collectors.

Well, can't help "what" they are, but can tell you this...no AIR tubes...means no EDO number for smog...means no passing the visual until you reinstall everything you took off.

I I'd pass on'em

That's right, no third gen can possibly pass CA smog with those. Look elsewhere.

You really sure those are f-body??? The space inbetween the primaries on the pass side headers doesn't look right for how tight they fit in there. I have a set of heddman long tubes and those are not them. brad

Well, no I am not sure. The guy claims they are for 82-92 FBody. But says he honestly doesnt know what brand and has had them 4 years..... hmmmm..

I know, I know, I know that it wont pass CA smog. But it wont be smogged so I do not care.

just for the record, edelbrock tes headers for the G-body are the same as the ones on a thirdgen. the only difference is the Y pipe. i assume that other header kits are the same. for instance you could put SLP headers on a G-body wiht a custom Y pipe.

Heck, if you're not concerned about smog, and this guy really isn't sure what he bought new 4 years ago, I'd spend a c-note on a set from Summit, ask for the 10% discount they have through the end of the year, and start with something new that you know will fit your car

Yea, they look like Hedmans to me too. I'd have to say though, I think theres no way in hell those are gonna fit an F-body. That passenger side header looks all wrong.

good call madmax. the more i look at them, especially the passenger side header, that wont fit on a thirdgen or an G-body. that rear primary tube will hit the heater box on a thirdgen for sure. my TES headers are bent as close to the engine as possible back there. on those headers the #8 primary comes out over top of #6 primary. there is almost no way that would fit a thirdgen engine bay.

My mistake....you are correct even on the G body. I just went and looked at my Monte. Nope wont fit. I am goin to agree with 97-1LE. They do look similar to a set that I just sold not to long ago and they were of a 2nd gen camaro. How much can headers really cost in the US??? I paid $200 cdn for brand new headmans here.
