Disconnected the alternator...
I disconnected the alternator while the car was running and it didn't shut off. So that tells me my alternator isn't bad. My battery is new. What else could it be? I can drive my car all day if I dont turn the lights on. Soon as I turn my lights on my car wont start back up. Since its not the battery or the alternator should I take it to an auto electric shop? Or should I check something else first?

Que?
So if you turn the lights on, the car dies, and then won't restart till the next day? Thats certainly a weird problem and don't even know what i'd begin to check. But something that weird could only happen in a british car (MG, jaguar, etc) or maybe a Ford. Never seen a GM electrical system go that crazy. Perhaps you're not explaining clearly?

Did you disconnect the alternator or the battery??? If you are having a electical problem that is causing the battery to die, take off the power lead to the BATTERY when the car is running. If it stays running the alternator is fine, if it dies the alternator is finished. Also check you voltage with everything connected properly and see what you get. It should be around 13.5 volts, give or take .5v.
I corrected the "of" to "off"

make sure that you dont have any fraided wires or any shorts at all causing it to get grounded or anything where your lights are cause that might do it too. I had kinda the same prob. My rear degfogger plug that attaches to the gas shocks which holds the hatch up...well one of them was not in all the way so when i turned the defogger on it would short out causing the car to stall.....drove me nuts still i found out what it was.
