car shakes

Car struggles but runs. Stick shift. As driving, car feels jerky. Got oil change, tune up, new timing belt, new air flow sensor, but problem persists. Thanks for any help.

89V6,

Welcome Aboard!

Describe exactly what was done as part of the "tune up". The parts that were replaced, the adjustments that were made, etc.

We'll wait...

Could be a clogged converter.

Yes but it could be a fuel filter too. Like Vader said ,we need to know what was changed on the car during this tuneup. May have a wire crossed for all we know.

Yup, could be crossed wires; could be one left laying against the exhaust, or previously damaged and still defective.

"Shaking" usually is caused by one or more cylinders not firing. Investigate possible causes of individual cyl misfire.

Had the same problem. Changed the fuel filter (it was dirty) but that wasnt the problem. Turns out it was the fuel pump, located inside the gas tank. Caused jerky shaking motions due to little spurts of fuel being injected. Thats my guess. Gotta do the usual, drop the exhaust, unbolt the tank, access the pump and of course sign the check
