What are the differences in the 2.8 and 3.1 V6's?

What are the differences in the 2.8 and 3.1 V6's?

Do they use the same computer?

No. The 3.1l uses the 1227730. Not sure what the 2.8l uses (I do know it isn't the '730 though).

The 3.1l is a SD setup and the 2.8l is MAF.
