Excellent online repair manual!

I was looking at the website for the software that we use at the shop, and found out that an individual can use their online version. The software is called Alldata. I checked out their demo vehicles, and it is exactly what we get! It is available for $24.95 a year for the first vehicle, and it looks like $14.95 a year to add additional vehicles.

This is much better info than I've seen in any print manual! The closest thing to it is either other software versions, or the dealer manual.

You can check it out for yourself at: www.alldatadiy.com

One really nice thing is the access to the same TSB (and even more) that the dealer has. I say more, because they have some pretty good stuff in the TSB that Alldata adds.

They have Auto Zone on as a sponser.

I just thought it might be something you guys might be interested in!

Uhhh, Yeah! A lot of independent shops subscribe to AllData for generic service information, tSBs, training, etc. It's a pretty good system.

This isn't a full subscription though, you can get it for just one vehicle! There is some awesome stuff there, and it is the exact same as what we have for the shop! I think it would be an awesome resource for the people on this board that don't have access to the caliber of system that a professional shop would!

Oops! Double post! Happens to the best of us!

Also, I would like to add that the repair info they have on there isn't just generic stuff, but there is quite a bit of step-by-step instruction.
