bogs off the line
Was just wondering why my car bogs at WOT at a light from a dead stop. Could this be a problem with the TPS? As soon as i floor it, it hesitates for a second and then launches. Ive got a TPIS adjustable regulator set at 47 psi at the rail without the vacum. Should i return it to the stock setting of 39?
D4,
What is the TPS voltage? Have you cleaned the TB and set minimum air position? There is almost always a little tip-in hesitation with hot TPI engines, but cleaning the throttle body, IAC, and setting minimum air position a little toward the high end of the range tends to reduce the hesitation.
As for the fuel pressure, the stock setting should be 37 PSIG ± 3 PSIG at idle, with the vacuum line CONNECTED, and 44 PSIG ± 3 PSIG at idle with the line DISCONNECTED.
