My 86 iroc runs fine until it warms up, then when i leave off the gas at a light or stop sign, itll sputter, crankcase pressure will drop, lights will dim out and finally it dies. 23,000 miles on the car. Only thing ive done to it was put in k&n filters, took those plastic deflectors out of the air boxs, and put in an air foil. Car never gets run in the rain so i figured id be safe with the gutted boxes. Car didnt start last spring because i flooded the engine(not used to fuel injection) I thought the ignition module was burnt out so i riped the distributor apart. Might have scratched the cap, not sure, and if so just a minor hairline scratch. Car has new plugs and new injectors. Could it be a fuel filter clog up, a bad battery, or would i need a fuel pressure regulator with my so called "mods"? thanks for your time...
