A friend and i have a little "hp war" going on, he knicknamed his car Charlie, so my project became Whoop Charlies ***...

Anyhoo, i just fired the engine for the first time and broke the cam in... Dang this thing sounds absolutely insane. the fact that i was running open headers prolly had something to do with it, but still. I'm letting it cool down now before i go out and tune the carb, then its just little crap like putting the interior back together and bleeding the clutch line, and putting the tranny mount on...

Guess i just wanted to say thanks to all of you who have been putting up with my stupid questions for the past month or so. I would have never got this done without you guys...

Surely you would have. You might have spent more time, money, and labor, and ended up with an inferior combination, but it always helps to use others as a sounding board for your ideas. Nobody here knows it all. Nobody.

And the only "stupid" questions are the ones that are never asked.

BTW - Did you get the required approval to make all those modifications from the W.C.A. Administration? Just checkin'...
