my step-mom's relatives came over about 2 days ago, so we were going to fire up our car. went out to the garage and...battery is dead. hook up the charger and set it on 12v50amps(don't want the relatives waiting around in the cold too long) and let it charge for a minute. Crank, crank, crank, crank, crank, ... etc. Take the air filter off, look in carb, press throttle, fuel squirts down...hmmm we got gas...check all spark plug wires...all good...take off cap and rotor, clean connections, replace, shoot some ether in the carb, crank, crank, crank, crank, crank, ... etc. Maybe it's flooded? so I turn the battery off, and charge it up at 2amps, come back 2 days later (relatives gone), and it still just cranks. I checked the fuses, and one fuse is blown. It's a 20amp fuse for "Tail", i'm guessing tail lights? because i'm getting fuel, and it wouldn't start with starting fluid, i'm guessing it's something with the ignition. I have a relocated battery, battery cut off switch, MSD 6AL ignition, MSD Billet Distributor, MSD Blaster 2 coil, MSD wires, Champion Race Plugs. Any ideas?
