flex plate

The flex plate that came off of my one piece seal crank had a bat wing shaped weight on the flex plate. I am sure they call this externaly balanced. It compensates the crank for its design for the one piece seal. I notice when I went to a two piece seal crank the flex plate I bought didnt have the counterweight on it. Incidently the weight is installed closest to the crank, if my memory serves me correctly.
