what are you guys using for the 3rd gen firebird specs? they don't list any thirdgen.

I have this book that says...


This doesn't give you "Frontal Area" so what I did was just use the 4th gen since it's gotta be the closest. It shouldn't make much difference since the frontal area is calculated using 2 dimensional measurements, and that program doesn't compensate for the smoother slope of the 4th gen's front angle. Know what I mean? It's not that far advanced.

I take that back.....

It does ask for "drag coefficient" which on a 4th gen is .34

I don't know what it is on a 3rd gen. Sorry

It is about the same. In fact, the 3rd gen Firebird has the lowest drag coefficient ever, somewhere around .29.

I use the same specs listed for the 98 camaro. They are not going to be off that much.
