Positive battery terminal

Does anyone know why my positive battery terminal always gets that powerdy blueish-green build up on it? When I clean it it just comes right back. What might be the cause of this?

Its oxidation, usually caused by moisture, just try and keep it clean.

Get a can of battery cleaner and a can of battery protectant. The first one will obviously clean the battery and the other will keep that buildup and also corrosion from occuring.

Baking soda (cleaning) and petroleum jelly (protectant) will accomplish the same thing and is probably already lying around your house somewhere.
