ac delete
ok this might be really stupid question but i don't know anyhting about removing the ac. i am buying a ac delete setup on ebay comes with Heaterand vent controls, all the wiring, heater motor, heater core, all the duct work. so how do i go about getting my stuff out don't i have to evacuate the current unit? release all that coolant crap? if somone doesn't mind just tell me how to remove it step by step and i can probley put the new stuff back in just doing revers of some things. like do i really have to use the ducting? thanks and if you wounder why i am doing this its to make the engine bay look cleaner and i am putting some long tubes in and it be easier without a/c in the car. thanks again

you just need the l1e pulley and the non-ac box (not neccesarry but if you want things to be neater under the hood its worth it). and yes, its wise to have the system evacuated beforehand so you dont punch a hole in the ozone layer.

nother thing i like abount not having ac is that the radiator flows better without the condensor in front of it. Not a big issue but it helps not to have it infront of the radiator.

opps... forgot to checkwhay year you had. either way the only things you have to alter are the belt routing, whatever that may be on a v-belt system and the heater box. Dont remember what the v-blet routing looks like, though. I dont think you need that whole kit. Its not neccessary.
The ductwork is not nesessary. All you really need is the non- A/C heater box assembly. How much are you paying for all this stuff? You are definately right though, the removal of the box will make installing the long tubes much easier.
As far as evacuating the system.... Well, you can just undo the lines on your own if you feel like it, but if you are a tree hugger then go ahead and pay some shop to properly evacuate it for you.
The swap should be simple, fairly self explanitory.

All you need is the non A/C heater box, which can be found at a junk yard for a few pennies. All the wiring is the same, and the controls will work fine, unless you just want the non A/C controls.
