today me and my buddy installed a new ACCEL cap and rotor, and Accel Coil in my 92 RS (was totally stock). After we finished that and put everything back we took it out around the block. It ran fine for bout 5 miles, but rigth infront of my house it died and wouldnt crank over. it sounded like the battery was completely dead. ive come back from vacation and the battery would be drained sounded exactly like that. he took his car next to mine and we jumped the camaro. it started right up and i put in on my driveway. we decided to let it run to see if it will die again, and it did after 5 mintues. i took the keys out and let it sit for a couple hours (went to his house) and then i tried starting it . it cranked right over and fired up. i let it run for 15 minutes at idle and drove it up and down the driveway a bit with nothing strange happening. turned it off went inside.

 

make sure all the connections are tight and not corroded, check the battery and the alternator.. most auto parts stores will check both for free
