Well my 85 is now being stripped. It was fun with the 454 for the last 2 years, but my motor and tranny live on in my 72 Cutlass. Kind of sucked starting to rip the car apart.

Got some stuff for sale if you guys are interested. Power window motors will probably be going up soon if it every warms up here so I can pull them.

It has actually been parked since October for the winter. But this week I actually started to strip it down. Good thing is some parts can go into my S10. Recycle time!

 

What happened to the Camaro?

 

Well after parking it, I decided I wanted to get my Cutlass on the road. It just made more sense to put my motor and tranny into the Cutlass. The 454 now has 2" primary hooker headers with a dual 3" exhaust. The camaro would have been hell if I wanted headers or a true dual set-up. The Cutlass also has a full frame, which was better then the unibody/t-top set-up. The Olds also has 8.5 10 bolt as opposed to a 7.5. There are a few other things that made me switch. After driving the Cutlass after the swap, I realized it drives SSOOOOOOOOOOO much better and smoother then the camaro.

I tried selling the car for $1000, which is like $650 US with th 4.10 posi rear, FLowmasters and such, 12 second trim just minus the motor and tranny. Nobody wanted it. They all wanted a car with a motor. It's been sitting in my driveway for 4 months under snow and it's killing me to look at it, so I'm stripping everything good off of it then sending the shell to the shredder.
