Hey everyone,

well I went to start the 88 Iroc tonight with the 350 and it turned a few times and then nothing, The battery seems fine. The temperature is also in the teens tonight in NYC. Could the cold have frozen the starter?

When you turn the ignition, do you hear a clicking sound?

 

it clicked a few times, I was expecting to hear that, but there was no sound...

 

If you turn the ignition and get nothing, I would suspect a battery or starter.

The battery is only a year old, but I think the starter is the orginal to the car, thats why I am thinking its the starter.

any suggestions on a good one?

 

Might be the fusible link on the starter.
