Slicks

Just got a pair of slicks and 15x8s, looks like the rim fits fine and what not but the studs are not long enough. Anybody know where I can get some studs that are the same diameter but longer, and how much I would be looking at if i just bought parts myself, and how much it would cost to have somebody do it. Thanks.

ARP and Moroso are at least 2 companys that sell wheel studs. Look through their listings for longer studs that will fit your car. Depending what rims you have, a 3" or 2 1/2" stud should be used. While you're at it, upgrade to a 1/2" diameter.

To properly install the studs, the axles should be removed so that the studs can be hammered in. You should "not" try to suck a stud through by using a nut and washers. You'll damage the threads before the stud seats against the back of the axle.
