Can someone DD an eng for me?
It's a TPI 383.
LTR's with Stock TB, ported plenum, Accel runners and intake.
TPI (083) heads, lightly ported and 2.02/1.6 valves.
LPE 74211 cam (.530 .560 lift w/1.6 (full roller) rockers; 211-219 dur @ .050)
9.5:1 compression.
5.7" rods.
24# injectors.
1 5/8" shorty headers, single cat, and 3" cat-back.
What did I leave out?
Mostly interested in the torque curve.
Thx!

Do you have the cam card for that camshaft? I need to know when the intake valve opens and closes as well as the exhaust valve. (IVO, IVC, EVO, EVC)
Also note that the numbers I give won't be the actual numbers computed by DD2000. I have done alot of DD2000 -vs- actual dynoed combos and DD2000 is ALWAYS to high anywhere between 50-100 HP/TQ. I found that a Roller Hydraulic LIfters throws it off. If I punch in all the specs, but change the lifters to flat hydraulics and the HP/TQ numbers are usually w/in 10-20. It seems to be a whole lot more accurate w/ all the ones I tried, and it was reccomended to me by a friend who has had the same results.

Didn't get a cam card.
I can try an email to LPE, but they're responses are sporatic at times.
Don't suppose anyone out there has the cam card info for LPE 74211 cam do they??

For that 383 I ended up with:
401 hp @ 5000rpm
479 tq @ 3500rpm
Sounds a little high to me but maybe I'm wrong

ZZ28ZZ,
Is that a motor you are planning to build or are in the process of building now?
I ask because I want to build a 400-425 hp/480-500 tq motor for mine. Of course I've read much to indicate that I might be expecting too much from a LTR motor. I don't want to dump the LTR for a stealth ram or such because I absolutely love the looks of the TPI.

I'm in the process of building that eng now. I have the heads done, the block almost finished and should be going together next week. Got the Accel runners, but still need an Accel intake.
I'll also be needing some EPROM burning equip and experience, but that will come later.
I'm wanting a wide-band O2 set-up too.
I was hoping for >400 lbs of tq before 2000 RPM and continuing above 400 ft lbs till past 4500 RPM. That should make for a fun street car.
Tunedport 335>> What was the TQ at 2000 RPM?
Did you find the cam info somewhere?
