LT1 Intake and heads

I have the opportunity to pick up a pair of aluminum LT1 heads and intake for very cheap. What modifications would be needed to make these fit on a standard small block besides having a hole for the ditributor drilled? Thanks for any info.

JKris,

One of our members (John Millican) has a lot of experience with LT1 intake modifications for distributors. You might want to contact him for details.

The LT1 heads will need to be modified to fit a gen1 SBC. I have never done it but here's a magazine scan of someone that has.

After that the LT1 intake will need partially modified just for the distributor hole.
