solid roller maintence

what kind of maintence would a person expect to see if they were to use a solid roller cam?

i know that mechanical lifters need to be adjusted, but isn't because of the wear on the lifter face? roller lifters don't wear as fast...

thanks

Every moving part in the valve train wears where it contacts every other part, which tends to increase valve lash.

Valve seats wear, which tends to reduce lash.

Doesn't matter whether there's a roller on the bottom of the lifter or not, same stuff goes on.
