What RPM are you supposed to set the timing at? Ive heard at warm idle, but my idle ranges from 700-1200 when warm so a specific number would be helpful. Also what do you TPI guys out there have yours set at?

soposted to be idle, and your car should idle at around 700rpm, but thats for carb, tpi might be a little different then carb on this though.
Sounds like you have a bad idle problem that should be taken care of first. When warm the car should stay around 600 or 700 RPM. At least mine does, and it's a TPI. I set mine at factory specs which I believe is 6* BTDC.
