What RPM are you supposed to set the timing at? Ive heard at warm idle, but my idle ranges from 700-1200 when warm so a specific number would be helpful. Also what do you TPI guys out there have yours set at?

Sounds like you have a bad idle problem that should be taken care of first. When warm the car should stay around 600 or 700 RPM. At least mine does, and it's a TPI. I set mine at factory specs which I believe is 6* BTDC.
