few questions about my GTA
Hey guys, I have a few questions about my 91 GTA for ya.
1) Where does the hot wire coming off the oxygen sensor get power. Mine is spliced and run to the Coil hot wire. I don't believe this is right.
2) Where can I get a hi-performance stock style coil and mounting bracket?
3) Does anyone have a diagram of the air pump routing? Mine is all cobbled together and can't be right.

Where does it get power? I beleive there is only one wire going to the O2 sensor, so thats all it needs, then mine goes to a little wiring harness thing underneath the engine then goes somewhere else. Hop ethat helpd.

Mine has 3 wires coming off the O2 sensor. A green one running into the witing harness, a black ground wire and a (I.n assuming) a power wire that was at one time brown but has been spliced. Like I said, it was run to the coil for power. Does anyone else have any info on this question as well as my other. Thanks. Damien.........Drive-On..........
91,
It probably isn't a factory installation. AFAIK, heated O²s didn't arrive until 1993 on 'F' cars. Someone likely changed to a HO2S because of a change to headers or other exhaust modifications, so it's really tough to tell how it was done.

The O2 is not stock, AFAIK, brackets can be had at the bone yard or a generic can be had at most parts stores, MSD makes a stock type, and I think Accel has come out with one also, and your routing should be on a (most likely) grungy sticker under the hood. Hope it helps.
